Herbs in SereniZen®

Eleuthero Root

Eleuthero root was the first well-studied adaptogen (a substance that promotes the body's overall capacity to handle non-specific forms of stress). It helps the body find homeostasis and supports the ability to respond to external forces that strain the body.

Lemon Balm

This calming herb comes from the Austrian folk tradition of medicine. Part of the mint family, the restful eugenol in the leaves is particularly good for addressing the effects of long-term stress.

Passionflower Herb

The Cherokee tribe used passionflower herb in poultices to aid in weaning babies and as a blood tonic. Today, evidence suggests it has the potential to promote well-being, relaxation, and sleep. Scientifically, it contains alkaloids, flavonoids, fatty acids, chrysin, and more.

Ashwagandha Root Extract

An adaptogenic herb often used to promote calm, support cognitive health, and help protect a healthy immune system. Science has shown it includes alkaloids, choline, fatty acids, withanolides, and amino acids, which support several bodily systems.

Holy Basil Extract

Once called an "elixir of life," now we know it is an adaptogen, having properties that help support the body's overall ability to manage stress. It is considered a holy herb and is often planted around Hindu shrines. It is also a delicious cooking herb.

Product Description

Exposure to prolonged levels of stress can have long-term health effects, which is why RidgeCrest Herbals offers SereniZen®. It combines vitamins, amino acids, and calming Ayurvedic herbs to help support the body's natural ability to create feelings of inner peace and deep calm.

You may notice that the ingredients are similar to our Adrenal Fatigue Fighter™ product. Both are designed to address stress but approach it from different angles to meet the needs of your individual stress response.

A good rule of thumb is to consider how you respond to stress. Do you get angry? Do you cry? Both? If stress frequently reduces you to tears, the adaptogens in SereniZen® promote the body’s overall capacity to handle non-specific forms of stress to help take the edge off of feeling overwhelmed.

It should be noted that if you're to the point where your stress is interfering with your ability to live your day-to-day life, you should consult a professional for help.
